Brownstone Brooklyn by Bike

There's no better way to see the beautiful neighborhoods of Brooklyn than by bike. We start in Park Slope and its splendid neighbor Prospect Park. Hear the story of The Battle of Brooklyn, which began here. We'll ride to the Gowanus area, long industrialized and now a reborn quarter, on the way to Carroll Gardens, another landmark brownstone neighborhood. We ride on to Brooklyn Heights, with its wonderful townhouses, carriage houses and spectacular views of Manhattan. Right below is Brooklyn Bridge Park, a beautifully landscaped waterfront which leads  all the way to the Manhattan bridge.. This is DUMBO, a business and residential neighborhood of old loft buildings.

This tour gives you a solid orientation of some of the city's most vibrant, handsome, and desirable places to live. It requires only relaxed pedaling at a civilized pace.

This tour works best from April through mid November. If the weather calls for sustained rain, another date will need to be made.      Starting times can be shifted based on customer need.
